Best Friends

When I was a freshman in High school, I realized something, I had never had a boyfriend.  I had never really thought my boyfriendless status before, in junior high I was a very studious student and I also didn't "like like" any of the boys.  However in High School its a big deal, boyfriends, girlfriends, friends in general, anyways I met this guy and we talked a bit, hung out on campus etc. at lunch one day I met some of his friends and the groups of kids he hung out with.

I met this girl who had a really awesome cell phone, it could play WHOLE SONGS! I thought this was the best invention ever! BEST INVENTION EVER! I could now walk around blasting music whilst singing it around campus.
As you can kind of tell from the picture, I pretty much forgot about my boyfriend, and my boyfriend status and became best friends with the short girl.  Best decision of my life, and a great pay off for a two week relationship.  Although it was fun holding hands while walking to class for those two weeks. :)

My love of Harry Potter...

Towards the end of Elementary School I discovered what would become one of my favorite books ever: Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone.  I read this book like it was the goddamn BIBLE, I was so excited, I'm sure I rushed through my homework on several occasions to get back to reading this book.  Since I was in Elementary School whilst reading the first few books of the series, I was convinced I could still receive my Hogwarts Letter. How could they not admit me? I already knew every spell mentioned in the books.  So I spent everyday looking out the window awaiting my owl..

As time passed, I realized I would have to face facts.  However, my facts didn't seem to line up with what my friends thought, they just thought Hogwarts didn't exist, I believed that I was just a muggle and would have to suffer alongside my muggle companions while the awesome witches and wizards were at Hogwarts learning potions instead of chemistry.  So if you are reading this, I'm sorry to tell you, but you are probably a muggle and you will not get to go to Hogwarts, you are doomed to a mundane existence and chemistry will never be as cool as potions.

First post!

I'm sorry to disappoint all you die hard David Bowie fans, this blog is not about him, although I am a huge fan of Labyrinth.  So, my first post will be about that movie, then we will move on to random life stories and memories. Moving on, Labyrinth has to be one of the BEST movies ever, tight pants, singing, a child in danger of becoming a goblin, time limits, random lyrics, helpful beasts, mean fairies, I mean what more could you want?! I remember I had nightmares after the first time watching labyrinth, now I could watch that thing all night!  You have Bowie, with those wicked eyes, crazy mullet styled hair acting as the goblin king in love with a young mortal girl, this turns into an awesome fairy tale by the end of story, now here are some pretty  pictures depicting the general plot line of the movie:

I feel like my drawing don't do it justice, there is a lot more glitter, random singing, awesome character, and funny goblins in the movie....so make sure to watch it...then continue to read my blog :).
